We have a 2001 Fleetwood Class C RV and the awning was really worn and torn in places. I got on a couple of camping websites, and their awnings were twice as much with a huge price for shipping! When I found this on amazon, I was a little skeptical, but thought if we hated it, then we would return it. We ended up being really happy with it!My husband is pretty handy, and he had no problem installing it. We didn't need any hardware, just the awning itself, so that made it less expensive. It probably took him around 3 hours total to take the old one off and put new one on. If you do it yourself, you will need 2-3 people when you are attaching it on your RV. My husband was on the roof, he had 3 helpers on the ground, on each side, and one in middle, just to make sure it went in straight. He didn't need them the whole time, just for that part! All in all, we are happy to have a nice, new awning. We are going camping this weekend, so if I have any issues with it, I will give an update.
