This was an easy swap with my 6 year old factory installed rubber propane pigtail. At 12 inches in length, it was two inches longer than the original, but simply rotating the bottle a small amount allowed a stress-free connection with a gentle curve. No yellow joint tape required.Animals chewed on last hose so replaced with one which has ss braid and was a little longer too. Perfect fit and hopefully the animals will leave this one alone. I just installed so don't know long term quality but installed quickly and feels like good quality.6/22: leaking around the hose.12/20: I’m using this to hook my cabins regulator to bbq cans. The previous hose I used was well made but not sheathed and over time became very stiff. This one fits perfect but something feels cheap in the way the acme nut is attached to the hose, it wobbles around a bit out there on the end of the hose until it’s connected to the tank at which point its snug. This is a very trivial point and it presents no issue today but I docked it one star because of concern about it’s robustness.
