I bought a storm door with a dog door built in. Two out of three dogs and one cat use it. This bar has helped save the screen while using the door both ways for my lazy pug.This works great! We have teenagers and a 10 year old who run in and out so this saved us from replacing screens etc.This is a worthwhile addition to our RV. It males opening and closing the doors much easier.I have used Camco grab bars for several campers. When I ordered this one I didn’t realize the bar was about 3”, where the others had been a little over 1” width.It is a nice bar, but it does limit where you are able to place it. We like it about mid-door, and it does block a clear view of the screen door latch. I could have installed higher, but then it blocks the window view, and would be higher to reach when outside the camper.We are satisfied with the bar, but just wanted to point out that this bar is much wider than we were used to or have seen before.Well made I just have to tell people it’s not for closing the door just the screen I also Bought a new Solar screening that reduces the sun’s rays 90% so they say it gives me privacy looking in but I can see out as you can see in a pictureas I've chosen not to install it in my RV. To do so would require my cutting of the inner screen door. Bugs and gnats are a big problem in my part of the camping world. Otherwise it appears to be quite capable of performing the function it is designed for.Works great definitely recommendI should have done this a long time ago. I used it for the main house door everyone goes in and out of. I Was really tired of hand prints and smears on the window. I love this bar. Now it doesnt feel like you are going to bust through the glass every time you open the screen door. Very sturdy! It is 25" across and approx. 2 1/2 " debth. Plenty of room between doors to close it. My husband had it installed in 10 minutes.I only installed this item just before storing my motorhome away for the winter. Seems very sturdy and well made. Easy to install. Should help with the operation of the door as well as an extra handle to assist with entering or exiting the steps of the motorhome.Easy to instal and works greatFit very good little wider then needed put very sturdy. Makes look little chunk but look proportional to door.I like it and very functional. Little pricey compared to smaller( thinner ones) but get more strength and substance.Strong but unattractive finish on plastic endsIt is very sturdy. Great compared to the smaller bar. Nice appearance to it. Good value for the price.
