The illuminated end is a nice addition touch. I used this while tent camping at a spot that had a 30 amp hookup and it was really nice to adapt an extension chord and be able to charge phones and things over the weekend. We also had a terrible rain storm and the adapter had no issues with the weather.There were several places we recently stayed with our Teardrop trailer that only had 30 amp power available. This is very durable and has the lighted end so you know instantly if there is power going through it.
