This is perfect for my old 83 chevy camper ! The original pump was loud this is much quieter than the old one , it put out 2.5 gpm which is just a waste this only uses 1.5 gpm and I hardly notice a difference in pressure , more than enough to send water from one end of the camper to the other end . The only thing I noticed was that if you try to use kitchen faucet while showering the pressure drops significantly but that's a Givin. All in all I would definitely recommend ?I’ve been using this for a few years to supply my cameras per van faucet. Works great with no issues, but it’s very noisy.I'll update this review when I actually RECEIVE the product, but currently I'm going on 6 weeks for actual delivery of this. I ordered it May 1 and as of June 9, still no pump. The delivery time period shows sometime between May 28 and June 14 (no PRIME shipping was available when I purchased it - but I see it is NOW...), but every other product I've ever ordered from Amazon with such a broad shipping timeframe still arrives within 2 weeks... With several other reviews on here saying they got theirs quickly, I'm getting concerned my order was lost and I may be out $28... I hope not, but I can only assume they're shipping this from China on a row boat, it encountered a monster storm, sank, had to be retrieved by a submarine, was placed on another row boat, Nigerian pirates commandeered the second row boat and are holding my pump for ransom... You get the idea.I trust it'll be a good product when it does arrive, but I hope the 2014 camping season isn't completely over by the time it does. I need this for my popup trailer now! Two separate orders for LED lightbulbs placed on the same day and given the same broad shipping time period were received several weeks ago. This is getting a bit ridiculous.I'll update this with a review of the product itself when it does arrive. Shipping sucks though. Pay for 2-day shipping. I wish I knew that when I bought it. I may not have time to install this before our second trip. I'm already going to miss out on it for our first trip this year.UPDATE: I was supposed to receive the pump by June 13, but that date came and went. I had little-to-no expectation of receiving a refund for some reason, but contacted the seller and explained the problem. They answered promptly and refunded my money within a couple of days. I went ahead and re-ordered (this time with PRIME shipping) and received the pump yesterday on-time. I will install it in my popup trailer in a couple of days and update the review with the pumps functionality at that time. Great response by the seller though!UPDATE PART 2: I finally got to the install today and found like other buyers that it came with no instructions whatsoever. Power wires are pretty self-explanatory (red is +, black is -), but the inlet/outlet ports weren't even labeled. I connected 3/8" tubing to each side and after a quick test on my popup trailer battery found that left is inlet, right is outlet.Install went smooth and easy. I t'd into the water line for the hand-pump side of my faucet (Leisure Components faucet purchased on Amazon) and plugged into the inlet of the pump. From the outlet I plugged the hose into a t'd connection I installed in the city water hose. Wired it up and tapped into the power wire for my thermostat, grounded to the frame, and I was good to go. I installed a toggle on/off switch so that I can bypass the water pump entirely if need-be for some reason. The pump is a little bit noisy by itself, but once the dinette cushions are back on and particularly if there are some additional items in the space under the dinette seat, it's actually very quiet and muffled. The reviewers who claim it's loud enough to wake up the whole campground are exaggerating a TON. The mounting feet are thick rubber to help dampen the noise and not spread vibrations through the trailer frame, but I cut up an old mouse pad and used that as a buffer between the pump and trailer frame as well to help with that even more. All things said, I'm extremely pleased with the purchase. I can still pump water with the faucet as normal, can plug into city water if available, and can use the water pump itself for those times my family doesn't want to have to pump water from the facet when we're boondock camping. The $30 price tag and free shipping simply can't be beat either. AWESOME product!Smooth finish plastic parts. Well designed rubber feet for vibration isolation. Relatively quiet, does not sound like an angry bumblebee. Sharp 3/8 barb prevented leaks w vinyl tubing (unlike several 3/8 barb adapters I bought...). Self primes as long as the pressure in the output circuit is not too high and the output flow is unimpeded. Was surprised to see water spitting out when I dry tested it. Apparently Seaflo does a live test before packing the pump. Great quality control !The sound is barely noticeable. Works great with existing faucet. Wish I had know that the modulator was also a shutoff switch. Super buy. Crossing my fingers it works for a long time.Easy to install and fit perfectly to existing bolt pattern . Instantly provided required flow with now hassle or modification and at a discount price with fast shipping.pump pumps great but extremely loud . Description said silent operation but sounds terrible. Bought two but really considering returning.Easy install. Works great“Initially I was very happy with this little pump as it did what I needed but then...I found within a couple weeks the pump wiuld not pump anymore once i shut it off and then on again.Once i opened up the pump diaphragm I found the little plastic plunger with the o-ring attached that does the pumping was always cocked and jammed open in its housing so it wasnt pulsing anymore. It pretty much did this each time so the pump became un-usable.”Bonne qualité -prix. Acheté pour hiverniser mon motorisé. Excellente vitesse, autoprime et facile à utiliser et petite dimension. Ne vient pas avec les tuyaux mais pour 20$ on peut acheter les connexions pour passer de 3/8 à connexion pour boyau arrosage. Donc je la recommande fortement !Great little pump! It is smaller then I had expected. I purchased this pump for an off grid application where I collect rain water, so I wanted a pump with low flow as to not waste too much water. Pick your mounting location carefully as with any of these pumps they are noisy. It was easy to install and came with wiring instructions (although it is pretty straight forward). The pressure is as listed (about 30-35 psi) but the instructions state that it can be changed by removing the front cover and adjusting the pressure switch, however I have not tried this.I have not measured the current draw but have it wired to a 5 amp fuse with no issues. If your looking for a low flow and/or low current draw pump this seems like a good one for the price.Easy install and great replacement for my ShurFlo pump of the same size, but about a quarter the cost. One thing to keep in min, it sits opposite of how the ShurFlo does, so it might cause some issues in tight spaces, worked fine for my install.PROS- Price- Quality- Ease of installCONS- Orientation is opposite of a ShurFlo pump, not an issue for me, but may be for some users- Instructions could be a little better, I had no issues, but have done this kind of thing beforeFast shipping and item works great. Smaller capacity then the pump I was replacing but didn't effect water pressure anywhere in the camper. I would recommend this to anyone looking to save $100 when replacing their RV water pump. HOWEVER ... the in and out are opposite of my original pump so make sure you have room to install this one, it is very small and I had no problems.
