Spring Tension keeps the farbic taught when extended and keeps the awning closed when retracted. Simple Install attaches using a standard awning rail (included), each arm is attached at the bottom with 3 screws through the bottom support and and pivot bracket. When extended the awning is held in place with the window awning strap & catch (included).
