I had do use drill bits to remove them and then I had to dig through an assortment of different sized Self tapping metal screws to replace the rivets. Once the rivets for handled the actual installation is very quick, However it does take two people. You will need some sawhorses ladders, pliers etc. Do you want to be careful that as you’re installing your awning that you don’t accidentally rip it. Overall I’d recommend this product for the quality the durability the thickness, And its overall stitching quality.But there will not be anyone who can do this in five minutes, Unless they replace awnings professionally every single day. With that being said be prepared for an all day project.
